Curling: Anniversary tournament 40th Disentiserkanne 2024

On December 14 + 15, 2024, the Curling Club Disentis will hold the anniversary tournament of the 40th Disentiserkanne. We would be very happy to celebrate this anniversary with you.

The Disentiserkanne is an open air curling tournament. A maximum of 24 teams play for the coveted Disentiserkanne.
A curling team consists of 4 players, whereby the head of the team is called Skip.
Each player plays 2 stones alternately against a second team. The stones of the same color, which are closest to the center, are
of the team in question. The player who has written the most checkers after 8 moves is the winner of this game. A game lasts just under 2 hours.
The overall winners will be chosen over 4 games. The 24 teams have to be divided into two groups, as only 6 rings can be played.
So a maximum of 2 games per team can be played per day. Thus, the whole tournament extends over Saturday and Sunday.
Late on Sunday afternoon, the winner of the anniversary tournament of the 40th Disentiserkanne will be determined.
